POLICE are hunting a suspect after a man suffered slash wounds to his face and body in the early hours.
The 29-year-old victim had been at a house in Ellen Gardens, Sutton.
Detectives say that while in the property he was slashed several times to his face and body.
The man left the house and went home before the attack was reported to police.
Shortly after 10.30am this morning a man fitting the description of the attacker was spotted by officers.

He was chased on foot, however, it is believed that the suspect was picked up by car which was then driven off at speed.
Residents have reported cordons in Sutton this morning, a large police presence and a police helicopter hovering in the skies.
