Plans have been withdrawn
PLANS to demolish two fire-damaged food processing units in Haydock have been withdrawn.
Proposals which were submitted to the council sought to bulldoze two industrial units, which belonged to the Westbridge Food Group on Bahama Road.
Proposals said the buildings are "structurally unsafe".
One of the units is to be refurbished under plans.
Fire damaged units would be removed with some material to be crushed on site for re-use.
The applicants have been asked to discuss the matter with the case officer if they wish to resubmit.
