VISITORS to a shopping centre were able to admired a stunning ice sculpture - with its surprise centrepiece taken home by one lucky winner.
The ice sculpture contained a replica Pandora ring and was situated on the mall at St Mary's Arcade.
The centre invited shoppers to guess the length of time it would take for the ice to melt, enough to reveal the ring, and the person with the closest guess would win an exquisite Pandora ring for their mum.
In total, 229 shoppers pledged their guesses and the ice sculpture took a whopping 70 and half hours to melt.
Winner, Linda Rotherham, came closes with a guess of 70 hours – bagging herself the prize for her mum.
Visitors were also able to take part in a craft workshop.
Steve Brogan, centre manager at Church Square Shopping Centre, said: “Our unique event was a great way to bring families together. Congratulations to our winner, Linda, for having the closest guess.”
