FOOTBALL pundit and ex-Liverpool captain Phil Thompson was a guest speaker at an Indian restaurant's ‘Lunch with a Legend’ event.
Thompson, a regular on Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday, appeared at The Holdi Restaurant, on Ormskirk Road, Rainford over the weekend.
And he brought a special visitor with him in the form of a replica of the famous European Cup.

In his career, Thompson won three European Cups and seven league titles with Liverpool.
It is the second time in recent weeks the restaurant has hosted a big footballing name after Everton legend Andy Gray appeared at Holdi.
Hailing the latest success of their latest event, Holdi restaurant said: "We all loved the afternoon, the feedback was amazing.
"It was a huge success and endorsed by Phil himself.
"We’ll be announcing dates for future Sportsman’s dinners shortly for the summer, Phil Thompson and Andy Gray are just the start. "The great memories of yesteryear and to actually dine with our heroes, I can’t begin to describe."
