Small Wonders in Lea Green was targeted
BURGLARS smashed a window and attempted to force open a back door as they struck at a nursery.
Small Wonders Day Nursery on Chester Lane, Lea Green was targeted by two offenders on Friday evening (April 5).
Police have issued an appeal for information following the attempted burglary which took place at around 7.45pm.
Officers were called to the nursery, where it believed that two men attempted to force open a rear door and caused damage to a window.
It is believed they did gain access to the building but nothing was taken and the offenders made off empty-handed.

Police say CCTV and forensic enquiries are ongoing.
