A FRIENDSHIP group is inviting people to get involved, including those who have recently lost a partner.
The St Helens and Warrington Oddfellows' next Tea and Toast meeting is Thursday, April 18 at 17 North Road.
Meanwhile a coffee morning will be held at The Hotties Café in the World of Glass on Thursday, April 25.
Both events start at 10.30am and finish at noon.
Julie Webster, social organiser, said: “When you’ve lost someone it can be hard to muster up the courage to join in and meet new people again.
“There are so many wonderful things to get involved with locally. We’d recommend coming along to one of our Crafternoons, Tea and Toast sessions or coffee mornings these are all great first events for those who would like to meet new people.
