POLICE say they have stepped up patrols following a flurry of thefts from vehicles.
Crooks have struck in Poplar Grove and Alder, Prescot, where they targeted cars. Meanwhile, on Grasmere Avenue, Prescot offenders gained entry to a car and stole £10 in cash.
Other break-ins included on Halton Hey, Whiston, Beechwood Grove, Whiston and on Coniston Avenue, Whiston.
Also, on Driveway, Whiston a thief was disturbed while in a car at 5.25am and made off on foot.
A statement from Knowsley Police said: “Teams will be actively patrolling for individuals involved in this criminality in order to make arrests and prevent further offences.
“If you have been the victim of a similar crime but not yet reported it please report it to us so we can map offences.”
