TWO parks are set to receive new playground equipment in as part of a redevelopment.
Work is already underway in Taylor Park and will begin soon in Sutton Park.
It will see much of the old playground equipment removed and replaced with new swings, slides, rockers and multi-function play units.
A contract was awarded in January to playground designer Wicksteed, to supply the new equipment.
A spokesman from St Helens Council said that : "Bad weather over the last couple of weeks has delayed the work, which is expected to be completed by mid-April."
