IN response to last week’s letter that urged people to pick up their own litter.
The footpath on the corner of Boundary Road and Knowsley Road, at the five ways junction, needs its own bridge and a skip because:
1. It is impossible to walk over the path if it has been raining, unless you are wearing wellies.
2. There is litter floating all over it and piled up all over the edges of the buildings.
You can’t really blame the council for people’s dirty habits.
Most of this rubbish originates from shops and most of it is drink cans and plastic.
