SAINTS and Lancashire starlet Joe Sharratt has returned to light training with the club's under 19s squad.
Sharratt, 18, suffered a serious head injury during the fracas on December 2, 2018 outside Manchester's Factory nightclub.
Seven men have been charged over that incident.
In a statement issued today by the club reads: "Joe is under close scrutiny with the medical department as he follows the return to play head injuries protocol, in consultation with neuro specialists.
"The latest update comes after Joe was involved in an incident in Manchester back in December in which he suffered serious head injuries.
"The player, his family and the club have been overwhelmed by well-wishes and messages from across the rugby league community.
"On behalf of Joe and his family, the club wishes to thank everyone for their continued support."
