A STOLEN moped with altered number plates has been seized by police.
The black moped was recovered by officers on Greenwood Close, Prescot.
This followed concerns from a member of the public that the bike appeared to have been abandoned.
Police say the bike has suffered some damage and the digits on the VRM plate had been changed.
Officers say they are making enquires with the owner.
