Two lanes are closed
THERE are traffic delays on the M62 after a crash between junctions seven and eight.
The accident took place on the M62 eastbound between Rainhill Stoops and Burtonwood.
Two lanes were closed and there are long traffic delays with congestion reaching up to junction six at Tarbock Island.
HIghways England say the two cars involved have been cleared with traffic now running on the carriageway.
There have been delays of around 40 minutes for motorists, with normal conditions expected to resume at around 8.45am.
