A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a crash yesterday evening, Wednesday.
Police and paramedics were called to the junction between Greenfield Road and Hard Lane in St Helens at around 7.45pm after a collision between two cars, a Kia and a Nissan.
Two ambulances and two rapid response vehicles were sent to the scene.

The driver of the Kia, a woman in her 70s, was taken to hospital with a head injury.
The road was closed for around two hours after the crash and reopened just before 10pm when the vehicles had been recovered.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
