TRIBUTES have been paid to a mother-of-five who was found dead at a house on Monday.
Police tonight confirmed the woman who has died is 46-year-old Rachel Evans, from St Helens.
Officers were called to an address in Hignett Avenue, Parr at around 12.50pm.
A post-mortem has confirmed she died of multiple stab wounds. A man has been charged with her murder.
At this stage the incident is believed to be “domestic related”, say police.
Rachel’s family have issued a photograph and paid the following tribute: "Rachel was a loving mother to five boys, a sister and an aunt.

Carl Harrison, 46, of Hignett Avenue, Parr will appear in court on Thursday charged with murder.
Harrison has been remanded in custody to appear at South Sefton Magistrates’ Court.
