Residents left without water after main burst
A BURST water main has left some residents in Newton-le-Willows without supply this evening.
United Utilities confirmed the damaged main on Winwick Road has left residents experiencing “no water or poor pressure”.
A statement from United Utilities issued shortly after 9pm read: “A team of engineers have been requested and will be on site as soon as possible to repair this.
“We're sorry for the disruption this evening and thank you for your patience whilst we work to resolve this.”
