A PLANNING application has been submitted seeking to change the use of part of a home to become the base of a special event private hire taxi business.
Proposals for a property on Arch Lane, Garswood have been received by St Helens Council.
Plans say: "Taylor Russell is looking to offer a special event private hire service to a more refined, corporate and private clientele, operating initially across the Northwest of England from a central base in St Helens".
Plans add: "The target market will be organised special events that are planned in advance and we'll also look to add a premium touch to any pre-arranged event such as weddings, sporting trips, corporate outings and any other pre-planned special occasions".
Proposals are on consultation until Tuesday, March 19.
