AN annual Model Railway Exhibition will take place at Rainhill Village Hall on Saturday and Sunday (March 2 and 3).

It will be open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and from 10am to 4.30pm on Sunday.

There will be 16 layouts in six different scales on show, some visiting for the first time.

Also on hand are four ‘show you how’ demonstrators, seven traders and the Rainhill Model Railway Club shop.

There will be refreshments available throughout.

There is full disabled access to all areas of both floors of the venue. Prices are £5 for adults, £3 for children and £13 for families (two adults, two children).

There will also be a free vintage bus service courtesy of The North West Museum of Road Transport on Hall Street, St Helens running at hourly intervals between 11am and 3pm each day.
