HOME Bargains is recruiting staff ahead of the opening of its upcoming store at Linkway West.
The store says it is looking for store supervisors, store assistants and store cleaners.
The launch date for the store is now set for Saturday, May 11.
This will come on the back of the opening of a £1.8m Superbowl UK at the West Point site, which is due to open next month.
The former eyesore, across from Cineworld cinema, has been subject to an ongoing development project as it is transformed into a leisure and retail complex.
The project brought to an end a long-planning saga after several false dawns in relation to the site.
The West Point site has already seen an Aldi superstore, Costa Coffee drive-thru and a Frankie & Benny's open at the location.
A spokesperson for Home Bargains said: “We can confirm that our Linkway West store will be opening on May 11.
"We are currently recruiting for store supervisors, store assistants and store cleaners and would encourage those interested to head to our careers website for more information. As a result of our constant growth, we’re always looking for new staff across the country.”
