Police on Hammond Street following the woman's death
POLICE are still awaiting the results of toxicology reports following the death of a woman in Parr last December.
The body of a 46-year-old woman was found at the property on Hammond Street, Parr, on the evening of Friday, December 28, 2018.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, police have said.
During the initial stages of the investigation, a 37-year-old man from Wigan was arrested on suspicion of murder and later released without charge.
An inquest is expected to take place to determine how the woman died.
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We are awaiting toxicology results but there are no suspicious circumstances.
"Once the results are finalised a file will then be passed to the coroner."
