Police arrested a man
A 24-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in the early hours of this morning (Monday) on suspicion of offences including drug driving and theft of a motor vehicle.
Shortly after midnight officers on patrol near Warrington Road, Prescot spotted a man said to be "acting and driving suspiciously in the area".
Officers stopped the vehicle and conducted a stop search during which drugs were recovered.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving; possession of drugs; driving without driving licence; driving without insurance and theft of a motor vehicle.
