A PUB in Cinnamon Brow is set for an extension and refurbishment.
Joseph Holts brewery is seeking planning permission from Warrington Borough Council in order to renovate the Millhouse on Ballater Drive.
Works would involve the demolition of a detached toilet block and the construction of a single-storey extension to the existing kitchen and dining facilities.
Meanwhile, the rear beer garden is set to be refurbished – including a new decked seating area and external play area.
Originally built in the 1980s, it is anticipated that the 40sq m extension to the pub would create an additional four part-time jobs.

Planning application documents stated: "Joseph Holt aims to develop and rejuvenate the property to reach its true potential, and to turn this site in to a true local community venue."
