FOUR youths were asked to go to a police station after anti-social behaviour broke out and criminal damage took place at a McDonald's restaurant.
They went to Huyton Police Station yesterday evening, Tuesday, after the incident at Cables Retail Park in Prescot with officers asking them to "account for their actions".
Police say the method of inviting the youths to the station was used in the hope that responsibility would be accepted and that the incident would not be repeated again.
Enquiries are ongoing to identify a fifth youth.
