LOUIE McCarthy-Scarsbrook plunged over from a Jonny Lomax pass two minutes from time to help Saints snatch a 24-18 win at Wakefield.
The game had seemed destined for golden point when the Saints had one more crack at the line.
In a tight game Saints also scored tries through Morgan Knowles, two from Tommy Makinson and one on the other flank through Regan Grace.
