The tree in Gaskell Park
ST HELENS Council staff have been called to attend a park where a tree has fallen.
The tree is blocking a path at Gaskell Park in Parr.
One resident got in touch with the Star to express concern over danger of the tree being there.
A council spokesman said the issue has been checked out by staff who have attended the park.
He said: "They have made the area safe but it is going to be in the park for the weekend to be removed on Monday."
