M6 closed northbound at Haydock after crash involving a motorbike and two vehicles
A PERSON has been taken to hospital with a back injury after a crash between a motorcycle and two vehicles on the M6 northbound.
The incident occured between junction 23 at Haydock and junction 24 Ashton, with police called to the scene shortly after 10.05am today, Friday, February 8.
The three vehicle crash, caused all lanes to be blocked between junction 23 Haydock and junction 24 Ashton-in-Makerfield but they have since reopened.
It is not yet known the severity of the person's injury.
North West Motorway Police are dealing with the incident.
