M62 southbound Pic: Highways England
THERE is congestion on the M62 up to Ashton-in-Makerfield this morning after a crash.
There is queueing traffic due to the accident on the hard shoulder on M6 Northbound at the Orrell Interchange.
Congestion has affected up to Junction 24 (Ashton-in-Makerfield).
A lane was closed until 8am and all lanes have now been re-opened.
