CURTAIN and blind manufacturer Ena Shaw has announced the launch of its new home furnishings brand.

Called Tru Living, it offers five curated collections of ready-made curtains, roller blinds, cushions and lampshades, all to be manufactured at the company’s 85,000sq ft premises on Lea Green Business Park.

The five collections are: Urban, Country, Festival, Stratus and Scandi, and are being launched at this year’s Spring Fair trade show, at the NEC Birmingham from February 3 to 7.

Ena Shaw commercial director Steven Ross said: “Tru living has been designed to encourage add-on sales by offering a comprehensive design solution for peoples’ homes.

“Our in-house design team have curated five beautiful collections of products, which reflect classic, modern and retro interiors themes.

“It will allow customers to bring a complete ‘look’ to their interiors but give them enough options to still be creative in making it personal.

“For retailers it eases the journey from a single cushion purchase to a whole room makeover, without the need for any specialist knowledge. Tru Living will offer affordable luxury.”

Cushions and curtains will be 100 per cent cotton, with curtains in nine sizes and a choice of pencil pleat or eyelet headings.

Roller blinds come in five widths, digitally printed in house on a standard or blackout base cloth.

Steven added: “There is also an option to buy made-to-measure products such as Roman blinds through our Curtain Express brand, which has access to the same fabrics as the Tru Living Collection.”

Family business Ena Shaw has been trading since 1932, when Ena started her own workroom making curtains and loose covers for retail.

The business established its manufacturing division in 1982 and still has a store on Duke Street, St Helens.
