POLICE shut down a cannabis farm after officers were alerted to the illegal factory by a member of the public on Sunday.
Officers seized a large quantity of cannabis plants from the property on Beaverbrook Avenue in Culcheth on Sunday following the discovery at 4pm.

A 30-year-old, who was arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis, was released pending further enquiries.
