POLICE made a range of arrests in Warrington overnight.
Here are details of some of the incidents Cheshire Police have reported on:
At around 9.40pm last night, Saturday, a driver was arrested on Cromwell Avenue in Great Sankey after he was allegedly drink driving.
At 11.45pm a hotel guest in Warrington was taken into custody after being accused of assaulting his partner.
At 12.50am today, Sunday, a man was arrested in the Great Sankey area after he reportedly assaulted a police officer who was dealing with a domestic incident.
At 2.30am, a man was handcuffed on Barbauld Street in the town centre after he allegedly shouted racist abuse in the street.
At 2.50am, a man was arrested in Lymm on suspicion of drink driving.
At 3.40am, a man was taken into custody at an address on Town Hill in the town centre for allegedly assaulting his partner.
At 4.20am, a man and a woman were arrested on Academy Way in the town centre on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.
At around 5.30am, a man was taken into custody after being accused of failing to appear for an alleged breach of court order.
At 5.35am, a man was arrested in Lymm after an eyewitness reported that he struck a woman to the ground in the street.
