THERE are traffic delays on the M62 at Rainhill Stoops after a crash involving two HGVs.
The M62 westbound lane is blocked on the exit slip road, with queueing traffic after an accident involving two vehicles.
The crash has taken place near junction seven at Warrington Road (Rainhill Stoops).
A police spokesman said they received a call to the incident at 3.35pm.
It is believed the crash, involving two HGVs, saw one vehicle crash "into the back" of another.
Traffic reports add that the event is expected to clear between 5pm and 5.15pm with normal traffic conditions expected to return by around 5.30pm.
No information about any injuries sustained in relation to the crash has been reported yet.
The traffic feed also says delays are also not helped by the ongoing traffic light failure in the area.
