TWO children aged, three and seven, suffered minor injuries in last night's car crash near to the Bird I'th Hand pub.
Police were called to the scene at around 5.45pm on Tuesday, January 22 after a collision involving a green BMW and a Vauxhall Corsa.
The crash happened close to the junction of Prescot Road with Dunriding Lane.
A 26-year-old woman and two children aged three and seven were injured in the crash, and went to hospital with minor injuries for precautionary checks.
A spokeswoman for the fire and rescue service said four people were assessed at the scene by paramedics.
She said: "Both vehicles were still on four wheels and everyone was out of the vehicles before we arrived.
"Fire crews made the vehicles safe. There were four people assessed at the scene.
"Three were taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
"We left the scene at 6.49pm."
