POLICE have issued CCTV images of 12 people they would like to speak to as part of an investigation into items being thrown on to the pitch during the Liverpool versus Everton match in December.
Officers have released the images as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident during the Premier League derby match at Anfield on Sunday, December 2, 2018.
In a region-wide appeal, Merseyside Police ask that anyone who recognises any of the 12 pictured, or are one of them, to come forward as officers believe they may have information which is vital to our investigation.
Match commander Superintendent Paul White said: “Following the match on December 2 officers have been carrying out numerous enquiries and as such we have issued CCTV images of 12 males who we believe could assist with an ongoing investigation.”
