BURGLARS forced entry into a house and stole "precious items" including handbags, jewellery and perfume.
The break-in took place on the evening of Wednesday, January 16 at an address on Higher Lane in Crank.
The owners have been left "devastated" after burglars ransacked a bedroom and stole numerous items from the property described as everything "that is precious" to them.
Things which were taken include Chanel and Louis Vuitton bags; a mirrored jewellery box; diamond jewellery and three boxes of Chanel cosmetics and perfume.
It is believed the burglary took place between 7pm and 9pm.
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said today (Monday): "The investigation is continuing and officers are still carrying out CCTV and forensic analysis to establish those responsible."
