SONGS from the 60s to the present day will be performed when “one big party” is staged at Saints’ stadium for the mayor’s charity Valentine’s Ball.

The event is being held as part of Cllr Pat Ireland’s tenure as mayor of St Helens. The night will feature a busy line-up of entertainment.

Marble Eyes will play their full repertoire of music – ranging from 60s hits through to the present.

The band will be supported by Olivia Parr, who sang the recent Pride of St Helens Awards.

Terryokee Entertainments will be DJ for the evening.

The Valentine’s Ball takes place on Saturday, February 16 from 7pm.

Mayor of St Helens, Pat Ireland said: “I can’t wait for my Charity Valentines Ball, it is going to be a wonderful evening for all, with plenty of dancing and great company.

“Money raised from the evening will go to my two chosen charities who are at the forefront of the St Helens community. I am a registered type 1 diabetic and St Helens Diabetes Centre have been phenomenal to me with my ongoing treatment.

“My second charity is The Steve Prescott Foundation who promote health and wellbeing within the borough and do so much for cancer awareness.

“I want to see the Totally Wicked Stadium packed to the rafters, as we are going to have one big party.”

Tickets priced £40, include a three-course meal. They can be purchased by emailing info@steveprescottfoundation.co.uk or contacting Martin Blondel on 07971792859.
