A PLANNING application has been submitted seeking permission to use a property as a children's home.
Plans seek a certificate of lawfulness for the proposed use as a children's care home for up to three young people at 54 Dentons Green Lane.
A document in the application by Greenhill says the purpose is to "provide a safe, stable and consistent living environment within which a young person may have the opportunity to develop to their full potential".
The home would be aimed for boys and girls aged between five and 17.
Plans say there would never be more than two children and two carers in the home and that the home would always have a ratio of one staff member per child.
Consultation on plans is until Friday, February 1.
