THERE were severe delays on the M6 this morning, Tuesday, following an accident in the early hours in nearby Warrington.
All lanes have re-opened but delays of around 20 minutes remain after the crash around 4.30am.
The road was closed southbound between junction 22 for Winwick and 21a for Croft to remove the vehicles and to clear a spillage.
All lanes were re-opened at 7.10am.
Queues remain to junction 25 at Bryn.
