POLICE have confirmed three patrol cars were sent to St Helens town centre this afternoon, Wednesday, after a "domestic disturbance" was reported.
Officers were called to Church Street at around 1.10pm after a report was made about the "disturbance" involving a man and a woman, both aged in their 20s.
Although the man was detained at the scene by officers no arrests were made.
