AN OFFICE development at Mere Grange has attracted a new occupier.

Mere Grange Business Park, providing 47,000 sq ft of office space across 10 buildings, has seen Assist Group become new occupiers having taken 3,090 sq ft.

Real estate investment company Squarestone Growth, acquired the business park last year from Network Space.

The estate has since received a rebrand, and newly appointed commercial agents BE Group and B1 Real Estate.

Simon Roddam of commercial agency BE Group said: “The St Helens office market has remained active for some time now, with existing local occupiers and start-ups providing the lion’s share of demand.

"We have seen a particular demand at Mere Grange from occupiers seeking to make a progressive relocation to better quality office accommodation, reflecting a modern business park image.”

Simon added: “Assist Group are an established facilities management business who were already operating from St Helens servicing the region. Attracting Assist Group is testament to the quality of the buildings at Mere Grange and its closely linked position to the M62."
