This is the moment police stopped the BMW
A TEENAGER has been released on bail in connection with a BMW that was reported to have been stolen on Friday night.
The theft of the BMW car is alleged to have taken place in a house burglary at Grasmere Avenue in Prescot.
The car was stopped on Portico Lane, Portico on Saturday with police releasing a picture of the moment officers blocked the vehicle off on the road.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling and theft, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s.
A 19 year-old man was given an adult caution and two women, both aged 18, have been released with no further action taken.
