A CHRISTMAS market is to launch at the Gerard Arms later today.
The markets are to be officially opened by special guests from Saints, including coach Justin Holbrook.
The launch, at 5pm, will also see elves in attendance from Ultimate Party People to entertain the little ones.
The markets, to be under a marquee on the former bowling green at the back of the Dentons Green pub, will be open from midday until 11pm each day until Sunday, December 16.
They will also be held the following week from Thursday, December 20 to Sunday 23.
A statement from the Gerard Arms said: "We have you a 24 metre by 12 metre Christmas marquee with your Christmas Markets, built with wooden flooring, rustic seating and festive lights.
"The Markets are open with a whole host of local sellers adding up to 12 different stalls per day selling all sorts from aftershaves and perfumes, cakes and bakes, rustic furniture, lights, decorations, honey and beard oil.
"Each day will be dedicated to a different local charity too as we aim to raise funds for various needy and worthwhile causes.
"When days when the markets are not on, the marquee will still be open for outdoor festive seating."
