A WHITE Transit van filled with items of "sentimental value" has been stolen.

The vehicle had been left overnight on Saturday on Marsland Grove, Sutton and had been taken by the next morning.

The van contained boxes of tools and a large amount of items of highly "sentimental value" to the owner.

The van was stolen between 7.30pm on Saturday and 9.30am on Sunday.

The owner said he is willing to offer a reward for anyone who can help with the return of the van and its contents.

He said: "There is stuff in there that I have had for 40 years.

"It is full to the brim of personal contents and sentimental stuff.

"I'd be willing to offer a substantial reward for the return of the van and its contents."

The registration of the stolen van is: NC09 CWY.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We received a report of a theft on Sunday, December 9 at 10.25am."
