Costel Mandache was jailed at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday
A MAN who was banned from driving has been jailed after being caught behind the wheel of a car.
Costel Mandache, of Irvine Street, Leigh admitted driving on Lord Street on Tuesday while he was disqualified from holding a licence.
It was the 25-year-old's third driving offence "within a relatively short period of time".
Appearing at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, Mandache was handed a three-month custodial sentence and ordered to pay a victim services surcharge fee.
He has also been banned from driving for a year.
