TWO PRESCOT men are among seven fugitives still outstanding on a list of most wanted men released by police.

In November, Merseyside Police issued pictures of the 10 most wanted faces in Knowsley.

Police say that since the appeal, they have arrested or conducted voluntary interviews with 23 people in relation to burglaries, assaults and possession with intent to supply drugs, which resulted in three of the most wanted being traced, interviewed and dealt with accordingly.

However, seven of the people are still outstanding.

These include Michael Westhall, from Prescot, wanted in connection with a serious assault and Joseph Carrol, 18, from Prescot who is wanted in relation to a criminal damage

The other missing people are:

  • Lloyd Marrs, 22, from Kirkby - wanted in relation to a serious assault
  • Matthew O’Connell, 20, from Liverpool - wanted in relation to a serious assault
  • Callum Cargin, 22, from Knowsley Village - wanted in relation to a breach of restraining order
  • Daniel Dooley, 26, from Huyton - wanted in relation to an assault
  • James Nodwell aged 30 from Liverpool - wanted in relation to an assault

Sergeant Beth Blake, from East Investigations said: “The public, regardless of where they live or work should not be subject to criminal behaviour and have every right to feel safe in their own communities.

“We’re pleased that a number of people have been arrested and interviewed following our appeal but still need your help to trace those remaining wanted faces. If you have information, no matter how small, I urge you to get in touch – together we can make Knowsley a safer and more enjoyable place to be.”

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the above people is asked to contact Merseyside Police social media desk via Twitter @MerPolCC or Facebook: Merseyside Police CC.
