TWO people were taken to hospital on Friday after a crash between a car and a lorry.
Police, paramedics and the fire service were sent to St Helens Road in Leigh at around 2.45pm where the two vehicles had been involved in a collision.
Two people who were in the car were both taken to hospital- a man and a woman, both elderly.
Fire crews were on the scene for around two hours where the lorry was leaking liquid on to the road.
