A MAN has been charged with the murder of Peter Seeclear who died at Stadt Moers Park in Whiston.
Nathan James Muat, also 45, and of Upper Parliament Street, Toxteth was charged with murder by police.
Peter Seeclear, from Toxteth, had been fishing over several days at the Whiston park and had been staying in a tent.
Officers were called to Stadt Moers Park in Whiston at approximately 5.30pm on Tuesday, October 30 and found Mr Seeclear dead.
After being arrested and charged, Muat appeared at Sefton Magistrates' Court on Saturday, November 17.
He will next appear before Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday (November 20) and has been remanded in custody.
