POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to trace after stolen credit and debit cards were fraudulently used in an Asda supermarket.
The owner believes their cards were stolen between 6.15pm and 8pm on Monday, October 1 in St Helens.
The cards were later used at Asda on Kirkland Street, St Helens.
A further unsuccessful attempt was made to use the cards in the Co-op store on Liverpool Road in Irlam, near Manchester the following day (Tuesday, October 2).
Officers have issued a CCTV image of a man they believe could assist with their investigation.
Anyone who recognises the man or has any information which could assist the investigation is asked to DM @MerPolCC, call 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 18200208828.
