THE family of 22-year-old Dan Klepper who died after a road traffic collision on Wednesday, have paid tribute their son who "touched so many lives and will never be forgotten".
Police received a report at 5.50pm, on Wednesday, November 7, that a pedestrian had been injured on the linkway's Rainhill-bound carriageway.
Dan, from Rainhill was taken to hospital with serious injuries and later died.
They said: "We are absolutely devastated that our amazing son Dan Klepper is no longer with us.
“Dan was sadly killed on Wednesday, November 7 on the St Helens Linkway/Chapel Road.
"Dan was walking his beloved dog, Benson. He was funny, kind, creative, the most resilient person you could ever meet, Karaoke king and totally bonkers.
"Dan: you were loved so much, you touched so many lives and will never be forgotten.”
