SHERDLEY Park is set to host St Helens' main Bonfire event tonight with Spark in the Park.
The firework display will return from 7.30pm tonight, Monday, November 5 for a family friendly show that is expected to attract thousands of visitors. the Fireworks will be launched in rhythm with popular music tracks.
Car parking is available at Mere Grange; Elton Head Road; the Islamic Centre; Marshalls Cross Road; Sherdley Park; Lea Green Station and Sutton Leisure Centre for £10 per vehicle.
Food and drinks will be available and a children's funfair will be open until 8.30pm.
St Helens Council’s portfolio holder for arts and culture, Cllr Gill Neal, said: “This year we will be hosting a musical fireworks display which we believe will be hugely popular and attract a large audience from across the region after increasing in popularity over recent years.
"We are urging people to plan their journey via public transport, or to use the secure, designated car parks near the site and arrive in plenty of time.”
Event goers are asked to leave sparklers at home.
