Drivers are facing delays
DRIVERS are facing long delays this morning eastbound on the M62 after a crash near Birchwood.
The accident, which involved a car and a lorry, happened between junction 11 at Birchwood and 12 at Eccles.
All lanes have now been reopened after one was closed but delays remain.
Traffic is slow all the way back to junction eight at Burtonwood due to the closure and the ongoing roadworks in the area.
