An 18-year-old man was arrested in Eccleston
AN 18-YEAR-OLD man was arrested after being stop checked by police on patrol in the wake of a series of burglaries in Eccleston and Newton-le-Willows.
In recent weeks, police have issued warnings to the public after a number of burglaries in the Newton-le-Willows and Eccleston areas.
On Tuesday evening (October 23), police stopped an 18-year-old man who was reportedly seen "acting suspiciously" in Eccleston.
A man was arrested on suspicion of a breach of a court order.
